The awards will be presented at a special function to be held from 11.00 am 1.00 pm at Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School on Thursday, 19 May 2005 to coincide with Public Education Day. Your offer of $100 in sponsorship has been aligned to the following award: Excellent Contribution Beyond the Classroom by a Staff Member The staff member will demonstrate:
- on-going high-levels of involvement in providing opportunities for student learning or experiences to occur beyond the classroom setting
- excellent commitment to involving and engaging students in activities that involve the wider community and showcase the school, region or state
- a willingness to give freely of personal time and expertise in providing enhanced learning opportunities or experiences for students.
A formal invitation will be sent to you closer to the event, however, we would be delighted if you or a member of your organisation were able to be in attendance at the ceremony to present the award and to join with the recipients at a luncheon to follow.
